PACS 521: Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding

The issue of ‘conflict transformation’ is comparatively a recent concept. The course undertakes significant discussion about how to transform a conflict situation. It adopts an inter-disciplinary approach to understand the complex framework of peacebuiding and durable peace. Students learn about the language and metaphor as an issue of conflict and develop skills on the multidimensional tasking of conflict transformation. They learn from cultural and regional conflict transformation styles and practices.
