Muhammad Sazzad Hossain Siddiqui is a peace studies graduate. After completion of his four year graduation and one year master’s degrees from the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Dhaka, he joined as a Lecturer at the said Department in 2008. Mr. Siddiqui got promotion as an Assistant Professor in 2012. He went on study leave from the University of Dhaka to pursue higher study in the University of Bergen, Norway in 2014 under Norwegian Government Scholarship. He has successfully completed the degree and awarded M.Phil certificate in 2016. Mr. Siddiqui’s M.Phil thesis titled- Challenges of Implementing Peace Accord: The Case of Chittagong Hill Tracts Peace Accord (CHTPA) in Bangladesh was supervised by Professor Ishtiaq Jamil, Department of Administration and Organization Theory, University of Bergen, Norway. His academic interests are interdisciplinary: theories and practices of conflict resolution, peace accords and their implementation challenges, and security studies.
